It’s very good news for all us feline lovers – a whole festival hosted in London is to return later this year.
We’d love to attend such a festival, devoted to cats, but we all know someone for whom this would be a fantasy, right?
Festival attendees will be able to gather around to hear specially tailored versions of literary classics such as Homer’s Odyssey given a feline twist.
One can only imagine what you’ll get. Catcher in the Rye?
Well, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
In all seriousness, one of them is definitely going to be Close Encounters of the Fur Kind, which is better than anything I’ve got if we’re being honest.
Of course, it is all for a good cause. The proceeds from the event will be put towards the Erham Rescue centre and Freshfields Animal Rescue. In case you hadn’t guessed, they are charities that help out cats and kittens.
Tickets for the event will cost £22.15 (including a booking fee) and can be bought from the official CatFest website.
You’d better be quick if you want to get your paws on one. The early bird tickets (slightly cheaper at £15 a pop) have already sold out.
The purr-fect gift for the cat lover in your life, wouldn’t you agree?
