Bonds that can never be broken: Drontal and Advantage launch ‘The Inseparables’ with a little help from a few famous faces


The inseparable bond between humans and pets can only be described as a perfect partnership, and research[i] has proven the unique connection between man and dog exists.


Scientists have discovered dog owners experience a surge in oxytocin when their pets gaze into their eyes. The same hormone has been shown to peak in mothers’ brains when they look into the eyes of their children.
In light of these findings, and to celebrate the relationship between man and dog, Bayer Animal Health, makers of Drontal and Advantage, have launched ‘The Inseparables’ campaign. The campaign brings together two parasite protection products to showcase the inseparable bond between pet and owner, and establish worm and flea prevention as an important ‘partnership regime’. The campaign was inspired by the growing social trend of pet owners recreating pictures from their pets‘ younger years. 


The campaign is also supported by Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh and the nation‘s favourite pet, Pudsey. Ashleigh comments: “Pudsey has been my better half since I was 11, we’ve shared so many incredible memories and he’s brought such joy to my life. Keeping him happy and healthy is one of my priorities, not only as a dog owner, but as a best friend”.


Also supporting the campaign is TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Mark Wright, who owns three dogs with his wife Michelle: “I’ve been surrounded by pets all my life and couldn’t imagine not having any. They are truly incredible and I know everyone says it all the time, but they really are my best friends – that’s why it’s so important to look after them and keep them happy and parasite free.” 


Ashleigh and Pudsey and Mark will be supporting the campaign at Crufts, performing and making appearances on “The Inseparables” stand.
